About PEETS

2001 MAINSHIP 390 TRAWLER - PEETS

LOW-HOUR YANMAR - BOW & STERN THRUSTERS - GENERATOR - DIESEL HEAT - CUSTOM HARDTOP

Offered at $129,500

PEETS is an exceptionally well-equipped 2001 Mainship 390 Trawler offering an impressive combination of comfortable accommodations, economical single-diesel cruising and easy handling.

Powered by a 300 HP Yanmar 6LP-STE diesel with only 840 hours, PEETS offers the simplicity and efficiency of single-engine cruising combined with the maneuverability of Side-Power bow AND stern thrusters - a particularly desirable combination for an owner-operated cruising yacht.

She is further equipped with a Northern Lights 4.5 kW generator with approximately 260 hours, Espar central diesel heating, a custom flybridge hardtop and a strong complement of navigation electronics including radar, AIS, GPS/plotter, autopilot and VHF.

With her generous 14'2" beam, the Mainship 390 provides remarkable interior volume for a yacht of this size. Her comfortable two-stateroom arrangement, spacious salon and head with separate stall shower make her equally well suited for weekend cruising or extended time aboard.

PEETS has also benefited from recent owner care and improvements, including professional waxing and detailing, a new custom forward-stateroom mattress, hydraulic service, selected engine hoses and engine zincs.

This is a Mainship 390 with many of the expensive and desirable cruising features already aboard.

DESIGNED FOR CRUISING

The Mainship 390 has developed a loyal following among cruising boaters for good reason. It combines the space and practicality associated with a traditional trawler with a hull designed to provide greater speed capability when desired.

Built on a fiberglass modified-V hull with relatively flat aft sections and a shallow full-length keel, the 390 offers a practical platform for comfortable and economical cruising.

Her 14'2" beam is immediately noticeable when stepping aboard. It provides excellent interior volume and creates accommodations that feel considerably larger than might be expected from a 39-foot cruising boat.

The layout includes two staterooms with double berths, allowing owners and guests to enjoy genuine privacy aboard.

The head includes the highly desirable separate stall shower - an important feature for anyone planning to spend extended periods aboard.

LOW-HOUR YANMAR DIESEL

At the heart of PEETS is her 300 HP Yanmar 6LP-STE diesel with approximately 840 hours.

For buyers attracted to the simplicity and efficiency of a single-diesel trawler, PEETS adds an important advantage: both bow and stern thrusters.

The Side-Power thrusters provide additional control when maneuvering around docks and marinas and make this 39-foot trawler particularly attractive for a cruising couple.

GENERATOR & DIESEL HEAT

PEETS is equipped with a Northern Lights 4.5 kW generator showing approximately 260 hours.

She also features an Espar central diesel heating system, a particularly useful addition for cool mornings, year-round Bay Area boating and cruising farther north.

Together, the generator and diesel heat substantially increase the boat's comfort and independence when cruising away from the dock.

FLYBRIDGE & CUSTOM HARDTOP

The spacious flybridge provides excellent visibility underway and plenty of room to enjoy the boat from the upper helm.

One of PEETS' particularly desirable features is her custom hardtop, providing substantial protection at the flybridge helm and reducing the maintenance associated with a conventional canvas top.

The upper helm is supported by a useful complement of cruising electronics, including:

- Radar
- AIS
- GPS/plotter
- Autopilot
- VHF
- Radio

COMFORTABLE TWO-STATEROOM INTERIOR

The Mainship 390 makes excellent use of its substantial beam.

PEETS provides two staterooms with double berths, a comfortable salon and a practical galley arrangement for cruising.

The forward stateroom has recently received a new custom-made mattress from Sew & Sew of Alameda, an approximately $1,280 improvement.

Additional interior equipment includes:

- Flat-screen TV
- Deep freezer
- Hot water
- Electric head
- Separate stall shower
- Espar diesel heating

RECENT OWNER CARE & IMPROVEMENTS

Since acquiring PEETS, the current owners have continued to care for and improve the vessel.

Recent work includes:

- Professional exterior waxing - approximately $900
- New custom forward-stateroom mattress by Sew & Sew of Alameda - approximately $1,280
- Hydraulic system serviced with fresh hydraulic fluid
- Selected engine hoses replaced
- Engine zincs replaced
- Holding tank pumped
- Interior thoroughly cleaned and detailed
