SERENADE is a well-known sailing yacht, racing in San Francisco Bay, with many podium awards. This graceful sailboat has been rigged for racing and can be sailed short-handed as well. Maintained without limits, this boat presents an opportunity to own a prize winner in ready to sail condition.

Jim Taylor designed a daysailor that combines the traditional design of sailing yachts with modern performance and ease of handling using contemporary sailing hardware. To merely use a number to describe such a boat seemed inadequate, and so the name "Spirit" was chosen to better describe the very essence of this yacht.

The Sabre Spirit is a daysailer with classic good looks and spirited performance, built for people who love sailing and the exhilarating feeling that only a traditional sailboat design can offer. The overhangs of her hull convey an old world elegance, and her nominally narrow beam allows her to sail beautifully and responsively. Her deck hardware and fittings are of the highest standards. Keels and rudders, designed by Jim Taylor Yacht Design, are the standards of technology and performance.

Below deck, the Spirit offers a simple yet elegant layout, built with the Maine craftsmanship and quality for which Sabre Yachts is so well known. A functional galley is found to port, and to starboard is an enclosed head. Her salon offers twin port and starboard settees which surround an inlaid drop leaf table. At the forward bulkhead a ring frame surrounds the opening to the forward sleeping accommodation.

There is no mistaking this yacht’s heritage or pedigree. She is a Sabre throughout, a fast and extremely elegant daysailer which will bring back the excitement and exhilaration that we all felt when we first discovered the beautiful pastime of sailing.
