MAI TAI is a well cared for yacht with current service records for a 825 hour Universal diesel engine. This model gained popularity as a forgiving, fast, stiff, and sturdily built cruising yacht. It is one of Catalina's most popular boats. It is well designed and constructed and offers the space of a much larger boat at a VERY AFFORDABLE price!

Spacious main cabin with wraparound seating on starboard, with more seating on port. There is nice shelving and cabinetry on the port side.
Just aft on port is a compact navigation desk with electrical panel and radio equipment. The spacious head compartment is located just aft of the nav station conveniently located near the companionway. There is a built-in shower seat area and an opening port for good ventilation and light.
Across the companionway on the starboard side is a complete galley with double stainless steel sinks, insulated ice-box, stove with oven.
The entrance to the aft cabin is through a doorway just aft of the galley. The aft cabin feels very spacious and has a large double berth athwartships with the foot end of the bed tucked under the cockpit floor. There is also extra seating, and two opening ports for great light and ventilation.
The T-shaped cockpit is very spacious with long cushioned seats port and starboard, a nice teak folding table, and plenty of room to move around the helm.
Accommodations have always been a strong selling point for all Catalina models, and the 34 is no different. Most Catalina 34 owners have something good to say about the roominess of the interior. The layout features a V-berth cabin forward followed by the main saloon with starboard side dinette and port side settee. The galley is aft along the starboard side, and there is a good sized head along the port side next to the companionway. The master cabin is aft along the starboard side and features an athwartship double berth tucked below the cockpit.
