The Ocean Alexander 42 Sedan Bridge is a well-proportioned family cruiser with a sensible layout and a euro-inspired profile. Like most Ocean Alexander designs, the 42 was built on a weight-efficient modified-V hull with moderate beam and a shallow keel. An appealing feature of the 42 Sedan is a large cockpit that provides a good deal of open-air fishing trips. Included in this sale is a bait tank and plenty of pole holders and outriggers for the best fishing experiences with family and friends.

The interior is very innovative with a second (guest) stateroom below the elevated galley. It includes twin beds. Visibility from the lower helm is very good, and she features a full teak interior. Additional features include a transom door and swim platform, a well-arranged bridge with the helm forward, serviceable side decks, and excellent interior joinery. A great running performer, 375hp Cats (the most popular choice) will cruise her at 20 - 21 knots and reach a top speed of about 25 knots.
