WANDERING STAR

WANDERING STAR is a dark blue-hulled beauty that shows well. She has been laying in freshwater in the California Delta since 2011. She has low hours on her single Caterpillar 300hp 3126 diesel engine and is well equipped including a bow thruster, Simrad GPS Plotters at both helms, a Hummingbird 130 amp diesel-powered (6hp Kubota) DC generator, and a 9'6" Achilles Hypalon Dingy with a Torqeedo Travel 1103CS Electric Outboard Motor.

The Mainship 390 is a stylish and moderately priced US-built trawler with classic lines and a good turn of speed. Unlike the typical full displacement trawler, the 390 is built on a faster semi-displacement hull with flat aftersections, a long keel and a skeg-mounted rudder which protects the running gear in the event of grounding. Visibility from both helms is excellent, a deck door from the lower helm provides easy access to the foredeck via wide, well protected sidedecks and the flybridge is easily accessed via molded stairs not a ladder. In addition, the 390 is a big boat inside thanks to her 14-foot-plus beam (and 6'5+ headroom throughout most of interior!) with a floorplan that manages to include two comfortable staterooms as well as a separate stall shower in the head.

The single 300 HP Caterpillar Diesel engine provides the extra power when needed. She has a full SIMRAD electronics package which includes a 9" NSS Multifunction Display at the flybridge helm as and a 7" NSSMultifunction Display at the lower helm. She also has a Simrad NAC 3 autopilot as well as an RSS 35 VHF on the upper station with a HS35 remote handset on the lower station. To further compliment the electronics package she has a Simrad Precision 9 digital compass.

The Refrigerator was recently replaced and the head has been upgraded with a Raritan Freshwater Sea Era system including a SCAD SOLO waste tank monitoring system. Additionally, the seller has recently installed three new AGM batteries.
