Windward

Windward is an exception boat ideal for California sailing. This is only the 3rd owner since she found her berth in California waters.

She was ordered with select hard wood interior at extra cost which was varnished and sealed for longevity. It has custom cabinets for extra storage, that are convenient to use.

Many systems were upgraded including the elliptical rudder installed in 1995, which gives betrter control and performance. Engine maintenance has been performed at 100 hour intervals.

All Tanks tanks were modified to allow complete emptying by relocating outflow ports to lowest point in each tank. the electric system was upgraded with six house batteries and one starting battery. there is a three stage charging system for engine charging as well as inverter charging from dock side charging. The heart interface E-meter was added to provide constant battery monitoring.

Winward is a fun boat that can be managed single handedly and is easy to maneuver in tight quarters. Her accommodations make her a comfortable boat for weekends or as a live aboard.
