MELTEMI TOO

What a great story: Racer turns Cruiser/Club racer.

From 1980-1995 "MELTEMI TOO" was well campaigned on the West Coast gathering many trophies. She raced in the following; Boreas, Santa Cruz, Waterhouse, Drake's Bay, Great Vallejo, Lightship, Farallon, OYRA, and a number more. The current owner acted as crew on her during this time and then when the owner was finished racing, in 2000, he bought her and started using her a cruiser. She has been a very well cared for boat her entire life and just last month completed a haulout in anticipation of sale that included, bottom paint, new zinc anodes, a new dripless packing glans, feathering prop, and a new thru hull for the galley sink. Additionally, there is new deck paint, newer upholstery, newer batteries, and a large sail inventory, including some Kevlar racing sails that have not been used. Make sure you read the "Additional Specifications" for more info on those. This is a very comfortable boat to cruise on with her large forward berth, full galley, roomy head, 6'5" headroom, great storage, diesel heater, 80 gallons of fresh water(!), and large cockpit with all control lines leading aft. The current owner has recently added a furling jib and self tender also.

Sadly, this story must end for the current owners, but that gives a chance for someone else to walk away with a great boat to enjoy. They have priced her below market to make the decision easy for the next owners.
