SEARCHING

The Pearson 10M is a popular Bill Shaw design that is well known for its sailing characteristics. She has the interior volume of a larger boat with the build of old time craftsmanship not found today. Her hull shape and overall design make her easy to sail, sea kindly and safe. SEARCHING is a great cruiser/racer in turn key condition.

The 1977 Pearson Sloop is a perfect bay boat for the beginner or the expert. Not to big and not too small, the overbuilt fiberglass construction and relatively heavy weight, allows "Searching" to plow through most of the chop that the Bay can throw at you.  The Pearson 33 was conceived in 1969 by Bill Shaw. It is a moderate displacement hull with a pleasing sheer and graceful overhangs giving her classic lines. There were two interior versions; the competition and the cruising. Of course, there is some wear an tear but by and large this is a rare find with a few upgrades that are sure to peak your interest. The electrical system has upgrades, including two brand new batteries and a smart charger/inverter to ensure and preserve battery life. The interior has been preserved and is all original. Previous owner removed Atomic 4 gasoline engine and installed a fuel efficient Yanmar 3-cylinder diesel that will pull 4-5 knots at 3000 RPM.  Hood Main sail, Hood with Harken roller furled 135 jib/Genoa, and many extra tools and parts.
