The SERENDIPITY 43 was designed by Doug Peterson and high tech laminated with epoxy resins and kevlar with a H/D foam core by New Orleans Marine USA and later fitted out by Serendipity Yachts of California. They were particularly well designed medium displacement IOR racers and many took top honours in major ocean races over the years. Many, including ANDIAMO, were later converted to performance cruisers, several completing circumnavigations.
