TAIGA is a Hans Christian 33T bluewater auxiliary cutter that was designed by Harwood Ives and constructed in the Hansa Yachts shipyard in Taiwan. Hansa Yachts built the Hans Christian line from 1980 to 1987. She is hull number 73 of a total of 155 HC 33T's that were built. The yachts built in the Hansa yard are known to be superior in quality to earlier or subsequent builds that were done in other yards.

TAIGA spent most of her life in Lake Michigan and the clear, clean fresh waters of Flathead Lake in Montana. She was used only in the summer and stored on the hard in the winters. In July of 2013 TAIGA was upgraded and commissioned for ocean voyaging in Seattle, WA. Since then she has cruised the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and down the coast to San Francisco Bay.

What separates the HC33 from the larger boats in the Hans Christian line is her exceptional ease of handling.Under sail, she s seakindly without the tendency to bounce or bob over waves and she is very comfortable when the going gets rough.

TAIGA shows like a new yacht! With a Yanmar Diesel Engine, a Westerbeke Diesel Generator and extensive sail inventory, she is ready to cruise in comfort.

Opportunities like this do not come around often. Don't wait on this one! Call today to inspect this fine yacht!
