ALESSANDRA

ALESSANDRA is a spectacular Doug Peterson design Grand Soleil 50 sloop. She is a beautifully appointed cruising yacht with competitive performance around the buoys. She is a one owner yacht that was kept in fresh water on Lake Michigan until 2012 when she was moved to San Francisco Bay. In conjunction with her move the standing rigging was replaced when she was recommissioned. 

The yacht is long and sleek with a highly efficient deck layout. She features a deep sail locker in the center of the foredeck which can also be accessed from below. Designed by the renowned Italian architectural firm of Lorenzo Bellini, she is meticulously finished in cherry wood combined with a white vinyl deck liner. Seven hatches, numerous fixed windows, opening ports and dorade vents provide natural light and ample ventilation. The impeccable quality of construction is evident throughout. All of her interior upholstery is in perfect condition. The main salon is spacious with a large dinette to port and a great galley to starboard. She features a large master stateroom aft with a queen sized berth and an ensuite head with a separate stall shower. A private guest stateroom is forward with a queen sized pullman berth to port and a spacious head and shower. One of the outstanding features of the Grand Soleil is the tremendous amount storage which is more than adequate for long passages.
