ZEPHYRUS

The Slocum 43 is a sturdy double ended cutter rig designed by Naval Architect Stan Huntingford of British Columbia, Canada. This popular, proven design incorporates seaworthiness, a sensible deck layout, ample interior space and storage for safe and comfortable cruising. Of the 50 hulls built many of them have either circumnavigated or crossed oceans. The hull features a fine entry, a long cutaway forefoot, and an efficient keel section followed by a deep skeg hung rudder that provides great upwind performance and excellent tracking off the wind.

The voluminous interior is beautifully finished in solid teak with 2 private staterooms, a spacious head with stall shower, a large U-shaped galley, chart table and a generous main salon. Built to ABS standards in a temperature and humidity controlled enviroment, the Slocum is built to last and cruise anywhere.

An extensive recent refit of ZEPHYRUS includes the following:

• Fully Rebuilt Perkins 4-108 Engine with under 20 hours
• All new Thru-hull fittings, and hoses
• Rebuilt rudder with new supports
• Rebuilt steering assembly
• New Fuel Tanks
• New holding tank and head plumbing
