Adventurer

47' 1966 Chris-Craft Commander

$102,000.00

Last Updated: 2025-06-18

When she was introduced back in 1966, the 47 Flush Deck was the largest yacht in Chris Craft's rapidly evolving all fiberglass fleet.  The heavily built hull of the 47 is overkill by today's lightweight standards, and all of the deck hardware was custom-crafted at the old Chris Craft plant in Algonac, Michigan.  A comfortable cruising yacht, her three stateroom interior was arranged with the built-in dinette a step down from the salon.  Note that the forward head is in the bow section.  Also, there are twin single berths in the aft stateroom.  The seakeeping and handling characteristics of this boat are exceptional.  Twin 8V53 Detroit diesels cruise at a sedate 12-13 knots.

The owner has spared no expense in the maintenance and updates on this fine Classic yacht.  Modern Garmin 7212 Radar and chart plotter.  Remodeled kitchen, counters tops, appliances, Water fixtures through out the boat, Vacu flush heads, newer soft goods.  This boat shows much younger than its age with its original gel coat shining and teak trim showing like new.

If you are in the market for a classic styled yacht but do not want all of the work of a classic, you need to take a look at Adventurer today.
