Accommodations

CANADIAN SUNRISE is the "Europa" pilothouse model of the CHB 45 (CHB stands for Chung Hwa Boatworks) with the master stateroom forward, two heads, and a cockpit allowing access from the stern through a gate, up the ladder to the flybridge and to the side decks. It has a full teak interior, including built-in furnishings and parquet cabin soles. The interior accommodations are well arranged with the galley forward in the salon and easy deck access from the lower help position. The side decks of the Sedan are weather-protected by a bridge overhang, and the decks are wide enough for easy passage arond the house.

Entering the salon through the cockpit teak/glass doors is the spacious salon with the galley forward to port and across to starboard is the the Pilothouse/Lower Helm. Moving forward and down (3) steps awaits the private quarters on the lower level forward of the engine room bulk head with access panel under the stairs. To port is the guest stateroom and across to starboard is the guest head with Vacuflush toilet. Forward is the master stateroom with en-suite private head (with toilet removed) and shower/tub.

Overhead and Sole

The entire salon, galley and cabin overhead is covered with foam-backed and insulated headliner trimmed in teak and two full-length grab rails. Port and starboard overhead rod holders are crafted in teak. The entire interior sole from bow to stern is teak parquet.

Salon

Entering through the cockpit via double teak/glass doors the salon greets you with vintage wicker chairs and a large, rectangular dinette to port complete with circular upholstered bench seating. The port side dinette includes massive storage underneath. Also starboard and adjacent to the cockpit doors is a console containing the stereo system, speaker selection system (cabin, cockpit, forward deck, and fly bridge), DVD recorder/player. Adjacent to the console is a 20" flat screen TV. The entire cabin is filled with natural light from the large, opening windows port and starboard. Custom color-coordinated drapes and mini blinds provide privacy when wanted.

Continuing past the dinette to port is a teak room divider-style cabinet with shelves aft and sliding doors foreword providing galley storage as part of the U-shaped galley. To starboard is aft of the pilot station is the refrigerator.

Galley

The portside galley is U-shaped for maximum efficiency while preparing meals. There is a 2-burner electric stove and storage underneath, a double stainless sink with storage under and double drawer storage under the counter workspace. The custom teak galley ensemble includes countertops all around with removable inserts covering the stove and sinks. There is also a deep, shelved storage locker with removable countertop insert adjacent to the stove. VITIFRIGO 12/110 Refrigerator-Freezer. Lighting consists of four LED strips & a center light.

Lower Helm

To starboard and opposite the galley is the lower piloting station with spoked, ship's wheel hydraulic steering, Morse-Teleflex engine controls and electronics. Overhead you will find additional piloting and navigation electronics encased in a teak surround extending completely across the vessel.

Private Quarters

Down 3 teak steps awaits a two-cabin, two head layout on the lower level forward of the engine room bulkhead with access panel under the stairs.

Flybridge

Accessed via a teak ladder from the cockpit a huge bridge awaits you. The forward helm includes a large teak, spoked steering wheel, depth gauge, Furuno auto pilot, speed indicator & analog instrument display panel. Center forward is the Riche deck binnacle compass. Behind the helm is located a teak and fiberglass bench seat with wide seating facing both fore and aft. Waterproof vinyl cushions cover the backs and bottoms of the bench seat. Custom Stainless Steel Radar ARch Spacious storage under the helm station is accessed via twin louvered teak doors to port and starboard. Aft of the built in seating at the helm station, the upper deck is completely open and will accommodate many folding deck chairs for extra seating within the wraparound stainless handrails.

Deck and Cockpit

Teak abounds in a cockpit entry from the wide teak swim platform with swim steps and transom entry into the aft cockpit area with stainless propane grill powered by gas cylinders. Wide teak side decks give you full walk around and lighted access to the bow where a teak pulpit carries the windlass and 45 lb. CQR style anchor. Spare anchor rode and Fortress anchor in lazarette.
