Overview

The Azimut 52 initially replaced the Azimut 50, maintaining most design features but extending the overall length for more socializing space. The fiberglass flybridge on this Azimut is an open-top space with curved windshields to the front, and hosts a rear sunpad, a curving leather side sofa to starboard, an angled wet-bar console with a sink and a barbecue grill, as well as an upper helm station to port with a double sofa-style piloting seat.

One level down and you will discover a teak-lined aft deck with a leather transom sofa and room for an outdoor breakfast table, as well as side steps down to what was at the time one of the largest swim platforms on a vessel of this size. The platform also doubles as storage space for a water tender. Out on the foredeck, meanwhile, there is a double sunpad with marina-facing views.

The single-level interior is accessed via sliding glass doors, and benefits from double height windows in a striking, tear-drop shape. Internal spaces are decked in glossy cherrywood with burl accents, authentic Italian leather, chrome fixtures and fabric covered walls for a sedate and restrained feel. In the aft salon there is a U-shaped leather sofa surrounding a large coffee table as well as a loveseat and cabinets to starboard. Beyond this you will find a walk-in galley with a curved serving bar inspired by the classic cocktail lounges of the Art Deco era, equipped with a microwave, a sink, a fridge and faux-marble worktops. At the front of the cockpit is the main deck helm station, where you will find Furuno electronics paired with a steering wheel and bow thruster controls.

On the lower deck you will discover three spacious en suite bedrooms, including a pair of twin cabins positioned amidship and a lavish owner's stateroom forward with a queen bed. The huge en suite owners head compartment features a bidet in addition to a freshwater vacuflush toilet, sink and a large separate shower compartment. The lower deck spaces benefit from plenty of natural light thanks to porthole windows and, in the owner's stateroom, a large opening overhead hatch.

A pair of Caterpillar 660MHP engines provide top speeds in excess of 30 knots, while a deep-V hull with double chines provides excellent stability and balance while moving through the waves.
