37' Tiara Yachts 3700 Open

Overview

She is a true dual-purpose boat with the comfortable accommodations demanded by family cruisers and the cockpit dimensions of a serious offshore sportfishing machine. The 37 Open is highly respected as an excellent rough water performer. The yacht has a 30" swim step with a transom door. The 72 square foot cockpit features an in deck baitwell and a large fish box. It has a fold down seat on the transom and an aft facing seat to watch the fishing action. There are 16 rocket launchers throughout the cockpit. Up two steps is the spacious upper helm area with an L-shaped settee to port. To starboard is a wet bar with an ice maker directly aft of the helm seat. There is a drop curtain enclosure that keeps the crew dry and warm in the helm area. The large wrap around windshield offers excellent visibility. Down three steps from the helm area the luxurious teak interior is arranged with a private stateroom forward, a huge U-shaped dinette, a double entry head with stall shower and a very spacious galley. The joinerwork, appliances, fabrics and hardware are first-rate throughout.

Electronics

The yacht features a nice Furuno electronics packages. All of the Furuno gear is NMEA interfaced.

Electrical

The yacht has several sources for AC power. The yacht will run on 30 amp or 50 amp 110 or 220. The onboard generator will provide all the power necessary to run everything on the yacht. The 12V DC side of the yacht will handle the lights, engine starting, water pressure, and all the pumps on board.

Main Salon and Galley

The main salon features a custom dinette table, settee, and stool on port side with the galley on starboard and the head and shower forward on starboard. RUBICON is one of the few Tiara 3700 Open yachts that features a Tiara factory hard top. This top will allow you and your crew to be dry warm and comfortable in all weather conditions. It has upholstered panels underneath for sound proofing and there are flush mounted lights under the hard top. The 37 Tiara has wide walking decks to go forward to the spacious foredeck to allow safe anchoring or handling lines while docking.

Engine room

The engine room can be accessed from two areas, either a quick access hatch in the upper cockpit sole or the entire upper cockpit deck will raise with electric rams. This allows access to the whole engine room and gives the owner/mechanic room to work on the engines, genset, shafts, packing, battery chargers, vacuflush pumps, water tanks and holding tanks. The engines are Caterpillar 3208 TA's with 435 h.p. and the genset is a 9 K.W. Westebeke. This engine room is dry due to the dripless packing glands and dripless rudder packing glands. The ease of maintenance and access is a hallmark of Tiara yachts.
