• Best Power-to-Weight RatioFeaturing 2.8L displacement, Variable Camshaft Timing and a responsive 16-valve DOHC powerhead, the F200 maximizes volumetric efficiency to optimize power. This streamlined design combines two-stroke size with four-stroke performance, giving the F200 the best power-to-weight ratio in its class.

  Efficient PowerA single, electronically controlled throttle valve optimizes airflow through a long-track intake system. Combined with Precision Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection and a lightweight design, these features make the F200 a leader in powerful, efficient performance.

  Yamaha equipped the new F200 with Shift Dampener System (SDSâ„¢) hardware, making it the first member of the In-Line Four family to feature SDS. An SDS propeller, together with counterbalancing shafts, helps minimize shifting vibration for a quieter, smoother ride.

  Faster AccelerationVariable Camshaft Timing (VCT), standard on the F200, rotates the camshaft timing to improve intake efficiency. This results in quick acceleration, greater torque and impressive midrange punch.
