37' Little Harbor Hood Blackwatch

$28,000

Brigadoon is a blue water outfitted vessel. Such items as a water maker, new inflatable life raft with a 6 hp mercury outboard tells you she is prepared for cruising. The former owner added new autopilot, new batteries, new VHS and even a new circuit breaker panel.

Some unique features is that the full keel has hydraulic retractable center board. This will bring the draft to less than 3 ft in shallow waters, while providing over 5' in blue water.

The sails have plenty of life left in them and include, a Doyle main sail, a 140% Pineapple Light Genoa, and a 125% heavy Genoa. Spinnaker pole is included. There are extra anchors inclusing a 35 lb Rocna anchor with 200' of rope and chain. There is a spar Danforth 25 lb to use when moorage calls for it.

We recently re-vanished all the toe rails and cockpit teak so that she really shines. Decks have been refurbished as well. We are confident you will find this Blackwatch a super value given the thousands of dollars in improvements. This is a must see before she gets snapped up by some lucky sailor.

Comments:

I have owned and personally restored Brigadoon since 1993. She has won many races for me, including first-in-class in the offshore Windjammer Race from SF to Santa Cruz. She has won "prettiest boat" 4 times in the Plastic Classic Concourse d' Elegance, "easiest to single-hand" 3 times, and "prettiest interior" 4 times at the event we attend every year. She is a delight to sail. She is one of only 2 of these gorgeous boats that had the custom options of teak instead of mahogany, and diesel instead of gas.

I am the 3rd owner. Before I bought her, she was extensively equipped for offshore, and reportedly did a Transatlantic crossing & several passages to Bermuda from the East Coast.
