The Mediterranean 38 convertible is among the more popular convertibles in her size range that has been developed in recent years and has been one of the better boating values. She has sturdy construction built on a semi-V hull suitable for fishing, diving, or family cruising. She truly is a great all-around boat. She is powered by twin Cursader 350 cu in, 270 HP gas engines. Free Spirit has a lower helm, single stateroom, and down galley with breakfast bar in the salon overlooking the galley. And, her cockpit is very roomy.

Free Spirit is entered from the cockpit into the salon through a large sliding glass door. To port is an L-shaped sofa and to starboard is teak cabinetry, stereo, TV and the lower helm. Forward on the port side of the salon is a breakfast bar with one bar stool looking down into the galley below. The head and separate stall shower is located on the starboard side opposite the galley. Master stateroom is forward with walk-around double bed. The interior has lots of storage and two clothing closets.

The flybridge is of ample size. Helm is to port with wraparound seating for 6 in white vinyl. She has full canvas enclosure which is sound and Isenglass is clear. All the cushions have been recently reupholstered.

Free Spirit is a handsome boat in a popular convertible/flybridge style that runs great, shows well, and is a terrific buy. She has been well maintained by owner and shows it. Bottom was last done 2 years ago. She makes a great weekend home and Bay or Delta cruiser. Owner has enjoyed the boat for four years and is moving on to new adventures.
