The Norseman 447 Center Cockpit Cutter is a very spacious well designed performance cruiser from the famed Robert Perry and Ta Shing Yard. Ta Shing is considered to be one of the best boatyards in Asia and one of the best in the world. Perry's Norseman 447 design is widely considered one of his best offshore/bluewater boats.The boat was designed as a no-compromise offshore passage maker capable of safe comfortable ocean passages while easily making 180 miles per day with a short-handed crew. She features a very comfortable center cockpit arrangement and she is easily handled with her well thought out deck plan. Below one finds a large V-Berth cabin forward with head and shower, an extremely well appointed main salon with a U shaped galley aft and to port. Aft and to starboard in the salon one finds the forward facing navigation desk at the head of the walkway to the master stateroom. The full beam master stateroom is all the way aft and hosts a king size berth, head with stall shower and an abundance of storage in drawers and hanging lockers. Ventilation is excellent with large opening hatches and port lights. All interior joiner work is in varnished teak and built to the high standards of the Ta Shing Yard. Her Westerbeke 7.6 KW generator services all AC systems while under sail or on the hook.
