WALK-THROUGH

Standing on the pier looking up at ISLAND RANGER the first thing you notice is her bulwarks, house, deck, pud, ground tackle and all hardware visible from the outside show no signs of corrosion.  Moving aft along her portside you notice her low bulwark and gunwhale; making getting on and off relatively easy. Standing by her port quarter you appreciate her graceful sheer and capable lines.

Stepping over the gunwhale onto the fantail you see a working deck or a nice place for a teak dining table and chairs to enjoy an afternoon of sunshine in the Spring or Summer riding the hook in a hidden cove in Desolation Sound.

Moving forward through the watertight door into the salon you will find the salon and galley beautifully appointed with custom zebrawood cabinets lined with leather and a settee and table for four to port. To starboard you will find an open seating area ready for your two favorite easy chairs. The warm hydronic heat in the salon makes for comfortable lounging and endless hot water for showers.

In the galley you will find some commercial-grade equipment including a world-class Lang 30-inch Marine Range, a VESTA built-in Dishwasher, a GE 15.5 Cubic -Foot Refrigerator/Freezer and an LG Easy Clean Microwave.

Continuing forward you will find the Owners Stateroom with Center-line Queen bed and en-suite head and shower.  Down the Companionway to the guest berthing area and laundry you will find the guest head and shower to port and a double guest berth to starboard with ample storage everywhere.

Leaving the lower decks up to the bridge you will see a comfortable conversion accomplished from her original U.S. Army layout to cruising bridge.  The bridge features a port and starboard lee helm with joystick control of the rudder, as well as a lee helm at the centerline steering station and a lee-helm station and rudder control aft on the boat deck with Mathers Controls and bow and stern thruster controls.

Leaving the bridge, heading aft to the spacious boat deck you'll notice the 1500 lbs. Hydraulic Crane and a very nice cradle ready for your tender.  All in all, nothing was overlooked during the refit and she has been lovingly cared for since.  The pictures and this description do not do her justice.
