TE VEGA

TE VEGA is a 1984 Mason 63' Staysail Ketch with beautiful sweeping sheer and powerful underwater lines. She is a proven passage maker that embodies the definition of a Blue Water Cruiser. She has recently returned home to the California Bay Area from a stay in Hawaii. There have been extensive improvements and refits to TE VEGA over the last two years including a new suite of all the sails, new Furling Genoa, new Furling Staysail, new Main, new Mizzen and A-Symmetrical Spinnaker. All were added in mid 2019. In addition, there was a full Standing Rigging Re-Fit as well as the Running Rigging in mid 2019. In addition, the owner installed ALL NEW LIFELINE AGM BATTERIES THRU-OUT THE VESSEL mid 2019. The vessel was designed by Alvin Mason, A legendary designer who had also worked for Sparkman - Stephens and Philip Rhodes, two navel architecture firms whose legacy in American Yachting cannot be overstated. The Mason 63' not surprisingly is reminiscent of the classic Rhodes and S.S. motor-sailors.

TE VEGA is a center cockpit, three stateroom design with a spacious flush teak deck. She has been professionally maintained over the last few years with great attention to detail and recently completed an extensive refit with numerous upgrades. In addition, the vessel is in a transferable LLC which can save the next owner significantly on sales tax.

3. RIGGING: FULL RIGGING REFIT INCLUDING S.S. SHROUDS, RUNNING, CHAIN PLATES, Main and Mizzen Masts: REMOVED & TREATED/PAINTED/REWIRED/RESET, REBUILT HYDRALIC HELM PUMP, REBUILT ELECTRIC WINCH.
   
4. INSIDE EQUIPMENT: ALL NEW LIFELINE AGM BATTERIES THRU-OUT THE BOAT, NEW NEWMAR BATTERY CHARGER 40amp, 24V PROMARINE PRONAUTIC. MANUAL BILGE PUMP, NEW AGM BATTERIES FOR BOW THRUSTER WITH BATTERY CHARGER.
5. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT: NEW NORTHERN LIGHTS 6.0 KW GENERATOR.
6. OUTSIDE EQUIPMENT AND COVERS: NEWLY CERTIFIED AND SERVICED 6 PERSON LIFE RAFT, NEW STACK PACK COVERS FOR MAIN & MIZZEN, NEW DODGER & COCKPIT CUSHIONS.
