KENYALANG II

KENYALANG II is a well-maintained and appointed Catalina Morgan 440. Voted the Best Production Cruiser from 40 to 45 feet in 2005. The 440 combines the rugged offshore features of a Morgan with the great interior space, comfort, and smart ergonomics of a Catalina. The Catalina Morgan 440 debuted at the 2005 Annapolis Boat Show and opened the eyes of many that were looking for a true Deck Salon cruiser. Gerry Douglas, renowned naval architect and yacht designer at Catalina Yachts had a vision of a very comfortable and fast blue water cruiser and he accomplished both in the Catalina Morgan 440.

Enter KENYALANG II through a slightly offset companionway and step down to enjoy her raised cabin sole with a panoramic view. The ergonomically designed galley is immediately to starboard. Her main salon has a navigation center to port with a two-recliner settee and a drop-down drink/snack table to port. To starboard she features a U-shaped raised dinette offering great visibility with a cleverly designed cocktail table that hinges open for dining. Moving forward you step down to the owner’s stateroom which features a large Island Queen berth as well as seating and hanging locker storage. The ensuite heads feature a marine saltwater toilet, a sink in vanity and a separate shower stall with glass door.

Moving aft through the salon, the generous aft stateroom is just a step down featuring a large double berth with ample storage in hanging lockers and cupboards to port. To starboard you will find a large utility area lovingly referred to by owners as "the Garage" with standup headroom and room for a washer/dryer combo. This large area makes a great bosun's locker with room for a long storage/work bench. Just aft, this utility area expands into a large under the cockpit storage area for spares and stores. A luxurious interior and practical design are sometimes rarified combinations in yacht design, but Gerry Douglas managed to do it in the Catalina Morgan 440.

KENYALANG II is in excellent condition, with many upgrades. Her condition, fit and finish is bristol.
