COMPROMISE II

COMPROMISE II is a spectacular Robert Perry / Rob Ladd designed center cockpit cruising yacht that is turn-key and ready to go. She has 143 hours on her 80 hp Yanmar engine and 454 hours on her Westerbeke Generator. She features a stainless steel cruising arch with a solar array tied in to a Victron Energy Solar Controller. She has a 3000W Victron Energy inverter / charger system for the house bank and a Victron 50A Charger for the engine bank. Power anywhere in the world is not an issue on COMPROMISE II.

The Tayana 48 hull is a solidly built Robert Perry design. The waterline is relatively long to produce good speed, and the boat's underwater profile features a long-chord keel of moderate draft and a solid rudder mounted on a large skeg for good tracking and control response. The hull has a moderate reverse transom. All of these components together form a contemporary and well-proportioned yacht. The boat sails well to windward, it tracks ruler straight and it is stable and easy to steer. Designer Rob Ladd added a deck saloon design and raised the floor structure on Bob Perry's original hull to create a more spacious, open interior. The large wrap-around salon windows keep the living spaces bright, and the amount of headroom will make any tall sailor smile. Raising the saloon floor also opened more space for enhanced tankage.

The main salon is large and comfortable with a huge U-shaped dinette to port, a straight settee and forward facing navigation station are on the starboard side. The galley is a chefs dream with expansive counter space, top and front loading large well insulated refrigerator and freezer compartments and double stainless steel sinks.

The large aft owners cabin is equipped with a centerline queen size berth, a private head and stand-up shower stall, a hanging locker, and plenty of storage space. COMPROMISE II features two additional private cabins forward and another large head with a separate stand-up stall shower.

Her navigation electronics system is all new RayMarine with multi-function displays at both the nav station and the binnacle. A bow thruster makes docking easy and an electric halyard winch is on the starboard side cabin top.
