Built by Extreme RIBS in Holland. LIBERTY was part of and order of 11 RIBs for Americas cup race management for AC34 World Series in San Francisco. This is a twin engine RIB is very maneuverable and reliable.

All of the hulls that were built were named after americas cup competitor yachts. The boats traveled in 40ft containers with the AC45 Catamarans to World Series events for use as course marshal and chase boats. At the end of AC34 the boats were all stored for some time before being sent to Bermuda for AC35. This boat "Liberty" was an ACRM boat for a time before being handed to Oracle team USA where it was used as part of their chase boat fleet. Its role was reconnaissance and crew transfer. Black tubes were installed around this time. At the end of AC35 the boat was purchased by Liberty charters LLC and shipped to SF where it has been used as a private vessel and chartered to the PAC52 class for Big boat series and to the SailGP. 

This AC chase boat has always been very well maintained by highly experienced mariners.
