CALADESI features a new Schaefer In-Boom Main furling system with a new Doyle Mainsail, new Standing Rod Rigging, new Anderson 44ST Electric halyard winch, new Full Canvas Enclosure and new Batteries. In addition to her new Doyle Mainsail she has a 135% Genoa, a 90 % Jib and a new Spinnaker w/ sock, all self tailing Barient winches and a hydraulic backstay adjuster. Nice new Cockpit Cushions and canvas make cruising comfortable in her extended Mark II Center Cockpit. Over $60,000.00 was spent on CALADESI in the past two years making her an excellent value for a great cruising yacht.

Designed by German Frers and built by Queen Long Marine, one of the top yards in Taiwan. The Hylas 44 is a proven circumnavigator that combines sound design, quality construction and a yacht class finish. This MK II version includes a cockpit modification that is a little longer and deeper than the original design providing more room for crew.

The hull is hand laid reinforced with longitudinal stringers. Ballast is a bolted on lead cruising fin keel and the rudder is mounted on a beefy skeg. The interior is beautifully finished in teak with a teak and holly sole.

Equipment includes a 55 hp Yanmar diesel that will power her at 8 knots with 75 gal. of fuel in 3 aluminum tanks. There are 2 heads each with it's own shower, 200 gal. of water, hot and cold pressure water in both heads and the galley, tank tender, Espar diesel furnace and a Red Dot heater, AC/DC holding plate refrigeration and deep freeze, 3 burner propane stove with oven, and manual fresh and saltwater galley pumps.  An electric windlass, Delta Plow anchor with all chain rode, dingy davits, hard dodger with a complete cockpit enclosure and much more.
