The Bristol 41.1 is a highly regarded keel centerboard performance cruising boat from the drawing board of Ted Hood. One-hundred and four Bristol 41.1’s were built between 1981 and 1994. Known for spectacular sailing capability, these medium displacement cruisers track very well and handle heavy weather with ease. The Bristol 41.1 has a fine entry of a high bow leading to powerful aft sections. With a board up draft of only 4' 6" they can get into anchorages most other blue water boats never see and with the centerboard down she will fly to windward. The Bristol is regarded very highly for its high quality and robust construction of solid fiberglass. The 10,500 lbs of encapsulated lead ballast gives her a solid steady comfortable motion in all conditions.
