The Albin 28 TE is heavily built on a modified-V hull with a generous 10-foot beam, deep forefoot, and a prop-protecting skeg keel.  A cushioned engine box behind the helm seats allows for comfortable guest seating.  Belowdecks, the roomy interior of the 28 TE has the comforts of a larger cruiser with a full-service galley with fridge, microwave to port, standup head/shower to starboard, midcabin berth aft, and a convertible u-shaped dinette forward.  six opening ports provide good cabin ventilation.  Other features include a molded bow pulpit, transom door, trim tabs, gunnel rod holders, full-height bow rail, raw water wash down and transom storage boxes.
