This Monk 36 has been cruised in the Delta and San Francisco Bay by an active yachting couple since 1993, maintained professionally she remains in Bristol condition. She features a custom hardtop on the bridge along with a full enclosure, and a Bimini covering the boat deck allowing ample covered deck space for entertaining or casual outdoor dining.

With classic trawler lines, this Monk 36 was designed by the acclaimed naval architect Edwin Monk Sr.  The Monk 36 does an excellent job of maintaining the original concept of the trawler yacht as a safe, comfortable cruising yacht. They are solidly constructed of hand laid fiberglass and resin with solid laminate hulls. This design can be described as a graceful aft-cabin trawler offering a mix of simplicity, comfort and seaworthiness.

Her length overall is 39' 10", length on deck is 36 feet, beam is 13 feet and draft is 4 feet to the bottom of the keel. Bridge clearance is approximately 18 feet without lowering the steadying sail mast.
