KINO is a Passport 42 that was designed by Stan Huntingford who is famous for his well founded cruising yachts. The hull is fashioned with a canoe stern providing excellent stability in down-wind tracking and lumpy seas. The Passport 42 is an easily managed blue-water cruiser with quick response provided by its modified fin keel and skeg hung rudder underbody. KINO is a serious blue-water, comfortable live-aboard cruiser with a surprising amount of storage area.
The owners of KINO have recently completed an extensive refit that includes all new standing and running rigging, new sails, new sailing hardware, new electronics, a new Iverson's Design full enclosure and new Handcraft mattresses. The owners have purchased a brand new generator and watermaker which has yet to be installed and could be included in the sale of the yacht (un-installed; subject to negotiation).
