The Hunter 440 design team have met this challenge which includes a finer bow entry with a slightly hollowed out area just aft of the stem/knee providing faster water movement and in the stern section a longer and more flat bottom surface which equates to less water disturbance and increased hull speed. These features combined with a beamy midsection carried far aft provides a huge amount of extra living space below as well as providing larger and better organized storage throughout the boat.
