Accommodations

ANGELIQUEA has berths for 8 persons. The forward stateroom has a double bed, the second cabin is a single, the salon settee converts to a double bed, the pilothouse has a settee that can accommodate the off watch crew and the master stateroom has a center line queen bed. There are two hatches to topside and the main entry hatch to pilot house. There are two steering stations, main in pilot house and one outside before mizzen mast.

From bow to stern. Chain locker and storage to 1st bulkhead, then 1st stateroom 1 single bed on port side and the forward head with laundry and shower on the starboard side, to 2nd bulkhead, on port side storage, on starboard side sail storage and lines, 3rd bulkhead and on port side a full size workroom/machine shop with bench, vise and tool/parts storage, on starboard side fireplace and salon settee, then 4th bulkhead on port pantry, food storage and galley, on port side medium freezer and large capacity freezer, electric panel and controls for 12 volt and 24 volt systems (mid ship). From the galley upstairs (stairs are removable to access front of engine room) to pilot house, below the pilot house is the engine room (accessible from hatch in pilot house) engine room is also accessible from the machine shop on starboard side and next to the pantry door on the port side. In the pilot house there is an extra suspended berth for the man on watch. From the pilot house on the starboard side are stairs going below, aft to master stateroom. On starboard side, directly below the stairs from the pilot house to the deck, is a captain's desk, chart table and seat mid-section of the master stateroom, on the port side is the master stateroom head and a cedar lined walk closet. There is a queen bed in center of master stateroom with storage below. On starboard side aft is a small seat, and small berth or storage area. Across the stern behind the master stateroom bed, is the exhaust and steering cable compartment, visible through clear wood trimmed doors. On port side aft is a small berth, or storage area.

Additional Information

This design was originally based on the very successful Roberts 53 and is assured of acceptance by those builders who require a larger boat either for charter work or for extended cruising with a large party of guests. To date over 200 of these boats have been completed in Steel and Fiberglass.
