WALLOPING SWEDE is an actively raced class boat in the San Francisco fleet. It is hull number 157 and is one of the first manufactured with the current "Scrimp" production method from the Warren, RI factory. She is competitive and has the potential for podium level results.
She is race ready, faired/templated and has the preferred original rig that was recently refit by Easom Racing & Rigging. The engine has been rebuilt and bottom is in good condition. She also comes with a dodger and autopilot for family cruising or singlehanded racing.
A fun and forgiving performance boat that is easy to sail, J/105 offers low maintenance with a simple layout, has great performance, a large cockpit, predictable handling characteristics. There is less to maintain as all the extra cabinetry and weight of things you won't use aren't there. So instead of varnishing toe- rails and troubleshooting systems you'll be enjoying a sail with friends.
