41' Island Trader Staysail Ketch

$65,000

The Island Trader 41 center cockpit ketch is a classic William Garden design. Her clipper bow, wineglass transom, full keel and heavy displacement make her a capable blue water boat with classic lines. She is reportedly sea-kindly and her ketch rig makes for many sail combinations to balance her in any weather.  Her beautiful solid teak interior is emblematic of the best fit and finishes from Taiwan.  This well-equipped bluewater Island Trader has a comfortable salon with a master aft stateroom and head and a double v-berth forward stateroom with head.  Featuring many upgrades including modern aluminum masts, spars, rig and a cork deck.  She is ready for long range cruising or a spacious live aboard.

Accommodations

Down the companionway you step into a beautiful solid teak salon with dining to port and settee to starboard.  Over your right shoulder is the galley with lots of storage.  Over your left shoulder is the navigation center.  Moving forward you go through a beautiful teak doorway with solid carved water dragon into the vee-berth forward.  To port is a head with shower and to starboard is a hanging locker with lots of storage.  Turning and facing aft you walk aft through the salon and galley towards the master aft cabin.  No need to duck your head like the Formosa 44 aft cabins. An athwartships queen graces the master aft cabin with head and shower.
