Hull and Deck Construction

• Hull was cold molded wood epoxy construction with FRP laminate on the hull exterior and decks.
• The wood used in the vessel was reported to be New Zealand Kauri wood.
• The deck is plywood construction with an FRP coating and painted non-skid applied to the exterior plywood surface.  The deck structure is made up of the plywood sheathing and laminated transverse deck beams.

Engines

• Volvo Penta MD2040 three cylinder inboard diesel has replaced the original engine.
• Transmission Volvo Penta model MS15A-A
• Dripless shaft seal
• Three blade 18" diameter propeller 11 pitch bronze

Standing Rigging

• Standing rigging was replaced in 2015 at KKMI Richmond
