Quality, craftsmanship, seaworthiness and safety are the four cornerstones of the Macintosh line of sailing yachts. Particularly, those yachts that were built by the Hansa Und Shiffbau GMBH yard as MOONRAKER was. Born from experience and tested values, the Macintosh 47 is a true performance blue water cruiser, crafted with tremendous attention to detail, crew safety and crew comfort.
This yacht was designed for fast, blue water cruising with particular attention to comfort for the liveaboard cruising couple. She provides more stowage space than many larger vessels. She features two master suites that are private and spacious and both have dedicated head compartments with showers.

This luxurious suite is certainly to be considered a VIP.
The main salon is aft of the forward cabin. The salon is both bright and spacious with a huge U-shaped dinette to port. The layout allows for easy living. The navigation station is to starboard with wrap around instrumentation. Aft of the navigation station and utilizing the entire starboard walk through is a large gourmet galley. The second head is located in the port walk through. This head also has a wet locker hanging space with drain underneath. The master owners cabin is aft, and utilizes the full beam. It features a centerline queen size berth with settees at the foot on both sides and his and her dressers with hanging lockers.
The interior has teak bulkheads, teak and holly soles, gray and white vinyl removable headliner and quality materials in each head compartment. In the forward head there is a large opening Lewmar hatch. There are deck prisms in the galley, salon and forward shower for more light. There are five Hella 12-volt fans throughout and two solar vents. The yacht is fully air conditioned with MarineAir reverse cycle units. There is a 16,000 BTU unit in the forward and main cabin and a 12,000 BTU unit in the aft cabin and galley. The yacht features 6'4" of headroom.
