Accommodations

This yacht was designed for fast, blue water cruising with particular attention to comfort for the liveaboard cruising couple. She provides more stowage space than many larger vessels. She features two master suites that are private and spacious and both have dedicated head compartments with showers.

Starting all the way forward there is a large chain locker that is accessed from the shower which is all the way forward in the head compartment. The head and basin are on opposite sides of the boat, just aft of the stall shower compartment. Both the head and shower are done in gray ceramic tile and color coordinated Mica laminate. The vanity is marble with an inset stainless steel sink. There is a huge overhead hatch and deck prism overhead in the shower. The shower is tiled with a functional seat. There is an owner / guest suite just aft of the head. To port is a queen size pullman berth with an additional oversize single berth to starboard. There are numerous drawer and hanging locker options for storage. Additionally, there are two opening Lewmar hatches, two opening Lewmar ports and four large fixed ports. This luxurious suite is certainly to be considered a VIP.

The main salon is aft of the forward cabin. The salon is both bright and spacious with a huge U-shaped dinette to port. The layout allows for easy living. The navigation station is to starboard with wrap around instrumentation. Aft of the navigation station and utilizing the entire starboard walk through is a large gourmet galley. The second head is located in the port walk through. This head also has a wet locker hanging space with drain underneath. The master owners cabin is aft, and utilizes the full beam. It features a centerline queen size berth with settees at the foot on both sides and his and her dressers with hanging lockers.

The interior has teak bulkheads, teak and holly soles, gray and white vinyl removable headliner and quality materials in each head compartment. In the forward head there is a large opening Lewmar hatch. There are deck prisms in the galley, salon and forward shower for more light. There are five Hella 12-volt fans throughout and two solar vents. The yacht is fully air conditioned with MarineAir reverse cycle units. There is a 16,000 BTU unit in the forward and main cabin and a 12,000 BTU unit in the aft cabin and galley. The yacht features 6'4" of headroom.

 

Galley

The galley on MOONRAKER is expansive running down the starboard side of the yacht from the nav station back to the door to the aft master suite. It features large counters and extensive storage. There is a top and front loading refrigerator and a large top loading deep freezer. The double ceramic sinks are huge. It is a pleasant and functional space for the chef.
