44' Hunter Deck Salon

$149,000

SUMMER WIND yacht has been lightly used for daysailing on the bay. The spacious aft cabin and panoramic windows make for a light and airy interior. It is one of the most spacious 44' yachts you will find. Upgrades include a Raymarine electronics configuration at the nav station and binnacle with Radar, Chartplotter, Autopilot, etc., Bose Stereo System, Sharp Flat Screen TV, Dodger, Bimini, Cockpit cushions, Inverter, In-mast furling system and more

The 44 Deck Salon features spacious accommodations generally seen only on much larger vessels. The hull sports a unique ?bow hollow? forward, creating a longer waterline for increased lift and speed. The underbody aft also has a stern reflect for a flatter exit, resulting in enhanced stability and reduced wake characteristics. The Hunter 44 Deck Salon offers an extremely comfortable living space, featuring swing-out companionway doors to the interior, upholstered salon settees and a high-gloss dinette table big enough to serve the whole crew. A stainless steel refrigerator and separate freezer highlights the galley. A master stateroom with queen berth, forward guest cabin with V-berth and two separate heads each with stall showers round out this inviting interior.

Accommodations and walkthrough

Walking up to the yacht you notice the large stainless steel framed windows and a raised house. This gives the yacht ample ambient light and also adds to the salon headroom.

The interior is expansive with generous amounts of ventilation, natural lighting, storage and convenience features.

Forward, the spacious private forward cabin has a centerline queen berth, large hanging locker, lockers outboard, and just aft a large ensuite head compartment with a mirrored and lighted vanity and a separate stall shower.

The salon has a large settee to port that can easily seat six and a convertible dinette table that provides an oversized double berth. Opposite to starboard is an oversized double settee while the navigation station is adjacent just aft.
Opposite the nav. station to port, is the generously oversized seagoing galley facing forward yet very convenient to the companionway where serving a hungry crew in the cockpit is close at hand.

To starboard is the master’s stateroom head compartment with a separate shower stall that features a dual door access from either the salon next to the companionway or from the aft cabin.

The master’s cabin aft features a queen centerline berth with innerspring mattress and bedding package; a settee and bookshelf/library to port and an illuminated mirrored vanity with Corian countertop is just forward. Opposite to starboard is a storage cabinet with additional storage compartments and a large cedar lined hanging locker to provide exceptional storage space for the long-range cruiser. Ventilation and natural lighting is provided by 3 ports and 1 hatch.

The engine is below the companionway stairs and makes maintenance of the engine a breeze. The aft lazarettes are spacious and deep. This is truly a cruising yacht with storage everywhere and a two couple layout.
