Engines are 393 cu inch, inline 6 cylinder, four stroke, vertical in-line HINO diesel engines. They are fresh water coole engines via centrifugal fresh water pumps and rubber impeller sea water pumps. Engines utilize diesel fuel delivered in a direct injection method from an inline injection pump.
The galley is â€œUâ€ shaped with a Princess Propane stove and oven forward, twin stainless steel sinks under an opening window to starboard, and an upright refrigerator and freezer aft. There is a built in microwave mounted over the stove.
The 3818 was designed with a very comfortable layout. Forward is the ownerâ€™s stateroom featuring a centerline pedestal berth. There is a private head to starboard, and access to a shared tub and shower to port. Further aft is the galley to stbd with access to the second stateroom opposite. This stateroom has a large double bed as well as access forward to the second head. Up from the galley is the main salon and inside steering station. The salon has a raised convertible dinette and a wet bar. A sliding door leads out to the cockpit. Stairs lead up to the flying bridge and a transom door leads out onto the swim platform. Topside includes an enclosed second helm and additional seating.

Vessel is fitted with a 12 volt DC shipboard system and a 120 volt AC shore power connection by way of dual service 30 amp shore power inlets. AC inlets are located at the starboard side of the cabin with main duel pole circuit breakers located at the electrical panel board at the pilothouse for Line 1 and Line 2 service.
The DC main power disconnect breakers are mounted at the main panel boards in the pilothouse in addition to Guest two way ignition protected switches in the engine compartment for engines, house, crossover and generator.
