A very practical coastal cruiser with all the gear you need to go cruising. Shallow draft, centerboards, kick-up rudders, and a retractable drive leg make her a good sailing design. She features a Queen sized owner's cabin forward, 2 double guest cabins aft, a large galley, and a comfortable salon.
This Gemini is optioned with the Screecher bow track which is great for often light winds. Her 27 hp Westerbeke and Sillette Sonic drive leg push her easily and economically at 7.5 knots. The central aft location of the engine in the cockpit keeps engine noise, smells and vibration out of the living space. She has a large solar panel to keep the batteries up when moored, an inverter system, a watermaker and a Walker Bay sailing dinghy on davits. If you are in the market for a Gemini, this opportunity is not to be missed.
The Gemini 105Mc still remains one of the most proven and popular catamarans ever built. Her sailing performance is legendary yet still manages to surprise unsuspecting newcomers.
The accommodations are spacious, light, and airy so that the term "down below" just doesn't apply. The deck layout and rig offers a stable, safe, and well-reasoned platform for whatever comes your way.
And the ingenuity of lifting centerboards and kick-up rudders will have you sailing through less than 2' of water. All this and more at 33' 6" length and a 14' beam that can moor in a standard slip or truck across the country.
All the reasons this boat has been an American Legacy since 1981.

A large owners stateroom with a queen sized berth is located forward. This is a completely private cabin with excellent cabinetry and stowage. Two double cabins are located aft for guests. The salon settee provides great entertaining and seating space for 6. The cockpit is a comfortable sun porch and living space at anchor and hanging out in the aft hammock seat is a treat!
The Gemini 105Mc galley features expansive counter space both outboard and inboard in the starboard side hull. The galley is very open and close to the salon dinette yet out of the flow of traffic.

The 105Mc gets up to speed quickly with her Selden minimal fractional rig with a single adjustable back stays on a 1 ft. crane. This efficient full battened, big head mainsail goes behind the backstay improving drive and reducing heel.
An optional screacher can be mounted on a curved track to enable you to pull it to windward for maximum efficiency. This unique system is a cruisers dream; a spinnaker substitute that can be rolled in and out, as well as the ability to be used for upwind work in light air. The Gemini 105Mc deck is configured for an anchor pass-through the bowsprit. The base of the 420 square foot sail is mounted on a curved track between the bows. This sail is a cruiser's dream in light air as it can be used on any point of sail. The sail offers an excellent alternative to a spinnaker as the track enables the foot of the sail to be pulled windward on a reach or broad reach.
The Gemini 105Mc benefits from innovative teardrop hulls that provide excellent carrying capacity and efficiency. The sleek cabin top directs wind into the mainsail. Retractable centerboards in each hull provide excellent windward ability and retract when the true wind is behind the beam to eliminate parasitic drag and provide a draft of only 18". Rudders and the steerable drive leg are also retractable to eliminate drag and reduce draft.
Centerline Mounted Westerbeke 27 HP 30B coupled to a Silette Sonic drive leg that is fully steerable in concert with the rudders and retractable for reduced parasitic drag while sailing. This arrangement provides for excellent maneuverability especially with a centerboard deployed. It also has the benefit of eliminating engine related smells and almost all vibration and most noise from the living spaces.
