TORTUGA is hull #31 of the 99 Manatee series yachts built by Krogen. A single 100 hp Volvo Penta Diesel Engine gives the Manatee a range of 1,100 miles at 6-8 knots. She has a 13' 8" beam which is wide for a boat this size, and the salon is full beam. The forward stateroom is as large as you will see on a 36-footer and storage options are excellent She has a full galley, a spacious head with a separate stall shower, flybridge wheelhouse, and a fully enclosed cockpit with extended overhang.

Stepping aboard TORTUGA you will be immediately impressed by how spacious and roomy this 36' yacht is. She has a great layout that is very efficient and comfortable. The spaces flow together and all are finished in rich teak. The quality of the joinery is outstanding.
You enter into a fully enclosed covered aft deck with a teak sole and double doors that swing open to the main salon. The large double doors can join the aft deck space with the full beam main salon making the two spaces a large entertaining area. The transom features a drop down boarding or swim platform panel that is easily deployed.
The main salon is enhanced by the large double doors that connect it to the aft deck. The entire salon is finished in beautiful teak joinery. There are large windows on either side to flood the space with natural light and bring in the water views. There is a large pass through window to the galley from the salon.
Moving forward of the main salon to port is the large functional U-shaped galley. There is an abundance of counter space in the galley. This is one of the nicest master staterooms one will find on any yacht in this size range. Teak staving lines the hull sides and teak beams span the ceiling. There is a vanity with a mirror to starboard and a settee to port.

The hull and cabin sides are of fiberglass sandwich construction using closed-cell PVC foam core, with a heavy layup of fiberglass mat and roving. This construction has many benefits including the fact that the core does not deteriorate or absorb water, it increases strength and impact resistance, provides sound and thermal insulation, and eliminates condensation build-up inside the hull.
