Deck Equipment

The bow has a permanent custom SS Asymmetrical spinnaker pole, which is integrated with the large bow rollers. Next to that is a deck wash to wash of the mud from the anchor or just hose off the foredeck.

Forward of the mast is a beautiful Awlgrip flat space, great for a deck table, or just lounging around, or for storage underway.  There is enough flat space for 10 people to sunbath.

Swan Fun has a removable inner forestay to allow a hank-on storm job, if the wind builds up, but is not in the way when not needed.

The low maintenance deck gear is arranged for easy cruising or racing with a short-handed crew, using electric winches both in the cockpit and the mast base. The electric mast winch is great for pulling anything up onto the deck from the Aluminum RIB to sails out of the large bow storage to fuel jerry cans out of a dinghy.

The roomy aft cockpit can accommodate dining for six, all sheltered behind a large dodger with removable panels, to cater for all kinds of weather. It also has a cockpit shower.

  • The Deck has been Awlgrip without the teak for easy maintenance.
  • Maxwell electric anchor windlass
  • 45lb SS CQR/60Lb Bruce/Danforth
  • 10" aluminum RIB dinghy
  • 4 hp 4 stoke outboard
